IIT- Delhi will host its 40^th annual convocation over the weekend. This year about 1,420 students will be graduating from the Institute. Among them will be the first batch of 22 students of the unique diploma programme in Metro Rail Transport: Technology and Management. The convocation this year would see a record number of 181 PhD degrees being awarded, an increase of 23 percent over last year.
