Reduce Calories When Cooking

Measure up: Always use a spoon to measure oil when you start cooking, and never pour oil into the cooking pan directly.

Alternative methods: There are cooking methods like steaming, baking, broiling, grilling and stir-frying in a small amount of oil. As far as possible, chose these over deep-frying.

Get it: Even when you stir-fry in a small amount of fat, remember to take out the fried food on an absorbent paper napkin to remove extra oil.

Piping hot: Always heat oil thoroughly before cooking food, because cold oil is absorbed more readily than hot.
