Please note that all service providers and telecom operators have announced that a higher rate/tariff per SMS will be charged on both 31 December & 01 January 2010. The rates can range from Rs.1 – 3 per SMS. Moreover, it is not confirmed whether your messages will be delivered or not due to high congestion on the networks.

It is advised that you use online free text messaging sites during this week to save money. I am using one through which I can upload all my contacts within a minute and then send them free group sms at one go. I am able to send upto 100 free SMS a day, there are no ads attached to my sms and I get full 160 characters to send. You must try this.
