Sync Android Photos and Videos with Google+

Google+ is all over since its introduction and has a cool feature list to support its introduction. Addition to this is a feature that would enable all the photos and videos which are stored on phone to sync with Picasa Web.

But one thing to note is that the photos are resized to free storage limit (2048x maximum height and width). Photos are stored in an album named ‘Instant Upload’ and it is private by default. Photos can be easily shared from this album on Google Plus.

Google is allowing free storage for videos of up to 15 minutes in length. Any such video is likely consume more space than individual images shot by a 5/8 megapixel camera on typical Android devices.

Google+ provides very solid options to sync. While the phone is charging sync can be performed on Wi-Fi. This allows in saving money on data charges and help in retaining battery life.
