In June this year, Skype came up with one-on-one video chat for Android, but the feature support was only for a handful of smartphones. In the latest version – Skype 2.1 for Android – the support for the video chat has been extended to 17 new Android Smartphones and tablets.

If you one of the above listed Android device then enjoy video chat, but for other if you are running Android 2.2 and above you can also enjoy this feature – enable video calling in Skype Settings with the new option “enable video callingâ€. If it is not working even then – it means that your device does not meet minimum requirements for this feature.
