There’s some good news for residents of Delhi who are looking to buy homes in affordable rates.
The National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC), the largest public sector construction company will launch its housing scheme in the Capital early next year (2010).
There would be around 2,500 flats, priced between Rs 25lakh and Rs 60 lakh. This is going to be NBCC’s first housing project in Delhi. The flats would vary – 2-3-4 bedroom flats, full details will be out on the finalization.
The NBCC has built several infrastructure projects across the country. One such project in the Capital is the Pitampura TV Tower.
The first housing project that NBCC started was in Rajarhat, Kolkata, known as VIGYOR Towers.
The flats will come up on 30 acres of land adjoining the Ghitorni Metro station on the Mehrauli Gurgaon road. They will be ready 2012.
Earlier this year, the construction company had launched two housing schemes – in the mid and low end categories at Gurgaon in Haryana and Loni in Uttar Pradesh.
NBCC is coming up with 4,000 flats in Gurgaon for employees of the Central government and public sector employees.
