NBCC has finally announced the launch of their housing projects in Gurgaon. They have acquired the land and will be launching their houses in two different locations with different project names. Please refer the link http://nbccindia.com/nbccindia/public/jsp_pub/gurgaon_scheme.jsp for complete details. You can download the brochure for details and also the application form. In order to download application form you need to enter the application number which can be seen from the applicant details http://nbccindia.com/nbccindia/public/pdf_data_pub/real_estate/GURGAON_HOUSING/web_list_gurgaon.pdf

What is extremely disappointing is the prices they have fixed for their projects. This project was meant to be for Government employees and also invited EOI (Expression of Interest) from them. I myself being one of the applicants. They announced this project in the 2009 with a base rate of around Rs. 1980/sq. ft which seemed reasonable enough. Considering that they are putting inflation in the price that meant there could have been marginal increase, say something around 2200-2400. But with their new prices Rs.3375/sq.ft an increase of Rs. 1395/sq.ft (~70% increase) and this increase excludes all the other charges go for booking a flat(parking, PLC, Maintenance…) .

We have gathered a number of EOI from applicants and formed a group (around 75 applicants) and the fact that none seemed interest in the current prices is good enough to convince me that I am not alone to think on that lines.

My personal motive for pointing this change is in order to highlight the increase in price keeping in mind the project was meant for government employees, it has no intention to let people move away from this project.
