View Your TDS Statement Online

Every salaried employed might have checked in their Salary Slips regarding the income tax deducted from their salary component. In order to check the total amount of tax one has actually paid in any financial year, this can be checked online by creating an account at www.incometaxindia.gov.in

Creating an account is very easy, provide your PAN number while registering, fill in other mandatory details in the form, provide a valid e-mail address as that will be chosen for communication and verification. After providing the details you will receive an e-mail to confirm, click on the click provided.

After logging in your account, click on My Account –> View Tax Credit Statement (Form 26AS)

Form 26AS contains details of:

  • Tax deducted or collected on behalf of the tax payers
  • Advance tax/self assessment tax/regular assessment tax, etc. deposited by taxpayers (PAN holders)
  • Payment of refund during the financial year.
  • High value transactions in respect of shares, mutual funds etc.

View Form 26AS to ensure correct credit for the taxes paid/deducted:

  • To avoid tax demand notice from the Income Tax Department
  • For seamless processing of Income Tax Return and speedy issue of Refunds.

How To View Form 26AS?

  • Register for viewing Form 26AS by registering for e-filing on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Registration is immediate, without any cost and does not obligate e-filing, or
  • Through net banking facility of 19 authorized banks, or
  • Through registration with NSDL
