Although I am not a frequent traveller by Railways but still I continue to get the promotional message from the Indian Railways I guess, but not sure.  I am using Airtel as my service provider and the messages are marked to be received by TA-RAIL PNR.

I thought this might be useful for the ones who are frequent travellers or for that matter need information about PNR on their mobiles.

Just get the status for your train ticket by sending sms PNR <10 digit PNR of ur tkt> to 139.
