Dividend Announced – DSP BlackRock India T.I.G.E.R. Fund

As per the mail received from the DSP Blackrock Investment managers (communications@dspbrimin.com), dividend statement is as given below.

The Trustees of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund have declared a tax-free dividend as follows:   

Dividend per unit Rs. 2/-
Face Value per Unit Rs. 10/- per Unit
NAV (as on June 17,2009) Rs. 17.429

  The dividend shall be payable only to those Unit Holders whose names appear in the register of Unit Holders of the Regular Plan of DSP BlackRock India T.I.G.E.R. Fund (Dividend Option) as on June 19, 2009. Applications for subscription and switch-ins for the scheme will be accepted upto  June 19, 2009, subject to them being complete in all respects and received prior to 3.00 p.m.

Distribution of the above Dividend is subject to the availability and adequacy of distributable surplus. Pursuant to payment of Dividend, the NAV of the Regular Plan of the DSP BlackRock India T.I.G.E.R. Fund (Dividend Option) will fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy, if any.    

DSP BlackRock India T.I.G.E.R Fund (The Infrastructure Growth and Economic Reforms Fund) (DSPBRITF) is an open ended diversified equity Scheme, seeking to generate capital appreciation, from a portfolio that is substantially constituted of equity securities and equity related securities of corporates, which could benefit from structural changes brought about by continuing liberalization in economic policies by the Government and/or from continuing investments in infrastructure, both by the public and private sector. Asset Allocation: Equity & equity related securities: 90%-100%; Debt, securitised debt & money market securities 0%-10%; ADR, GDR & foreign securities: 0%-25%. Features: SIP only in Regular Plan, SWP & STP available in each plan of the scheme. Nomination facility available, subject to applicable conditions as per the Statement of Additional Information and Scheme Information Document. Declaration of NAV on all Business Days. Redemption normally within 3 Business Days. Sale and Redemption of Units on all Business Days at Purchase Price and Redemption Price respectively. Minimum investment: Rs. 5,000/- (Reg. Plan) Entry load (Regular & SIP Purchase in Regular Plan): – 2.25% for investments < Rs. 5 crore. NIL for investments >= Rs. 5 crore, For Direct investments – NIL. Exit load (Regular & SIP Purchase in Regular Plan): Holding Period < 6 months : 1%, Holding Period >= 6 months but < 12 months: 0.50%, Holding period >= 12 months: NIL Statutory Details: DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund was set up as a Trust and the settlors/sponsors are DSP ADIKO Holdings Pvt. Ltd. & DSP HMK Holdings Pvt. Ltd. (collectively) and BlackRock Inc. (Combined liability restricted to Rs. 1 lakh). Trustee: DSP BlackRock Trustee Company Pvt. Ltd. Investment Manager: DSP BlackRock Inv estment Managers Pvt. Ltd.
