Cover up: Never step out of your house without an umbrella or a raincoat. Also make sure that you have spare plastic bags handy with you all the time to wrap up your gadgets and carry-bags if it suddenly starts to rain. Carrying a fresh outfit to change is also good idea.

Dress Up Wisely: Do not wear white or light colored clothes or any fancy and expensive clothes as they can easily get soiled due to the monsoon puddles. Also make it a habit to wear cotton clothes only during the rainy months as they will dry up quickly.

Right Footwear: Wear comfortable open toed footwear which has a firm base. Avoid heels or leather shoes completely and let your feet breathe.

Eat Safe: Avoid road side food or water. Carry a medical kit and a strong mosquito repellent in your bag.

Charge Well: Keep your mobile and camera battery fully charged.
