Caring Diamonds: Soak the diamond ornaments in a solution of water and mild and dish soap. Take a soft brush to clear the dirt and then rinse it in warm water. Use a lint-free cloth to avoid scratches.

Silver stroke: Get a non-abrasive polish from the local market that contains anti-tarnish substance. Apply the polish with a flannel cloth and then wipe it off. To remove tarnishes in silver, get a silver dip, which comes both in liquid and paste.

Pearl jam: Never expose your pearl accessories to chemicals, sharp objects and sunlight. Always wear your pearl jewellery after the make-up is done. Use a soft damp cloth to clean the pearls. Shine your pearls, using a wee bit of olive oil.

Gem Care: Don’t place two gems together, to avoid scratches. Always use mild dish wash and then use cotton swabs to clean and rinse them.

Gold Touch: Make a solution of toothpaste or mild liquid detergent with lukewarm water. Dip your gold ornaments for 15minutes in the solution and clean it with a soft toothbrush. Once the dirt unsettles, wipe off the water, using a soft cotton cloth and finally use polish for shine.

Jewellery Case: Before packing your jewellery in case available, try and make sure that the case is not in direct contact with the jewellery(Red violet case) which causes to lose color. As a safety measure you can make a cotton layer in the case.
