 Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar (1894-1955). An Indian scientist and an authority on colloids, Prof. Bhatnagar was director of the Council of Scientist and Industrial Research and was responsible for establishing a chain of national research laboratories throughout the country during Jawaharlal Nehru’s time.
