Baking soda or bicarbonate soda also helps in maintaining pH balance and is a natural cleanser – from vegetables to teeth, deodorant and healthcare product.

  • Neutralizes acidic state of body: Foods like meat, fish, dairy products, most grains, sugars, alcohol and caffeinated drinks cause acidity in our body. An acidic body is an open ground for viruses and bacteria, which thrive there and cause lack of vigor, recurrent illness and pains. Proper intake of baking soda neutralizes acid’s effect in stomach, but it should not be consumed in moderation.

    Baking soda is probably the most commonly used for cleaning everyday product. It really does a great job for removing bad odor. And combined with vinegar it even unclogs drains. I’m fascinated by its effectiveness.
