ranbaxyWas just going through the business news and the latest update on Ranbaxy is that Malvinder Mohan Singh has stepped down as the chairman, managing director and chief executive of Ranbaxy Laboratories, India’s largest pharmaceuticals company. The company was last year acquired by Japan’s Daiichi Sankyo. Atul Sobti who was on the post of current chief operating officer, has been appointed as chief executive and managing director, while Tsutomu Une, the company’s non-executive director, will now serve as chairman.
